President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated Yashoda Medicity at Indirapuram in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

During the occasion, the President stated that the protection of people’s health must continue to be a primary concern for both the public and private sectors, and that healthcare is essential to the development of the country.

The President stated that every Indian citizen has access to high-quality healthcare thanks to ongoing improvements made to the nation’s healthcare institutions, infrastructure, and services.

Such initiatives are crucial to creating a developed and healthy India, according to President Murmu.

“Healthcare is essential to the development of a country. The government prioritizes preventing illness and enhancing people’s health, the president stated.

“Health and medical facilities, services, and infrastructure are being continuously expanded throughout the nation for this reason,” President Murmu continued.

President Murmu emphasized the role of the private sector, saying that quality private healthcare facilities may play a crucial role in accomplishing national health objectives.

The president was confident that Yashoda Medicity would revolutionize the healthcare industry and set the standard for high-quality, reasonably priced healthcare.

The President praised Yashoda Hospital’s efforts in treating a high number of patients and supporting government health initiatives including the National TB Elimination Programme, recalling the hospital’s role during the COVID-19 pandemic.

President Murmu asked the hospital to work with other institutions to advance medical research, particularly in the treatment of cancer, and to continue its involvement in national programs to eradicate sickle cell anemia.

Additionally, President Murmu emphasized the need for healthcare organizations to view social duty as being just as significant as medical responsibility.

The President claimed that this mentality is reflected in Yashoda Medicity’s goal of offering “affordable world-class healthcare services to all.”
